I want to meet Delia b/c we have both been to the Emerald City Emergency clinic and understand scary pet moments.

Two other reasons are that she is in Seattle, and apparently has been to 8 places that I want to go to.

For starters, she’s diagnosed my kidney on 43T and we shop at the same grocery store.

I was at the Capitol Hill Trader Joe’s last week and saw Daniel ride in on his scooter as I was walking out. After doing a double take, mainly because he was wearing a helmet covering most of his identifying features, I realized who it was and pleaded with my spouse to drop the groceries in the car and chase him down. Unfortunately, Daniel had already gotten into the elevator and I was chastised by said spouse for “wanting to be a stalker.”

If her 43 persona is at all similar to what she is like in real life, then she must ROCK!

Because she wants to meet me. :) Too bad we are on opposite coasts.

i’m impressed by your goals

He was my first real boyfriend in high school. We’ve vaguely followed each other’s lives through our weblogs. He seems relatively unchanged from when we were 15 and 16 respectively. I wonder if people say the same thing about me.

When he was in grade school he made a cicada paperweight by using a dead cicada body to make a mold for a some sort of “polymer crap” to be poured in that hardened and produced a life sized clear cicada.

I was married to him for over a year before I found this out. Consider yourself lucky that you are learning it so soon.

I came very close to meeting Kurt Vonnegut when I was 17. He was coming to lecture at Kent State and my boyfriend and I wanted to drive up to meet who I later claimed was the most influential person in my life in my Cornell University application. My mom balked, as the weather was bad and despite my pleas that he may not live much longer, I was forbidden to head out into the snowy Ohio wilderness. Nine years later, he’s still alive. I guess I should work harder at meeting him before it really is too late.
